 Taking A Lead - Thames Valley Law Firm Lands Leadership Accolade

Solicitors and staff at law firm, Charles Lucas and Marshall, were celebrating this week after completing a training and development programme which has resulted in accreditation from the Institute of Leadership Management.
Staff were encouraged to look at their own leadership and management styles and asked to produce an individual development plan which explained how they were going to put into practice the skills learned on the course.
"We had to identify when our own personality styles can be restrictive and not in line with what the firm may need," said Hemant Amin, head of practice development at Charles Lucas & Marshall.
"We discussed what we could do to overcome this, how to make a case effectively and understand the effect on people when proposals for change are put forward."
