 CLM Solicitor Joins Specialist Legal Group for Elderly
 Simon Mee Simon Mee, a solicitor with Charles Lucas & Marshall, has become a member of Solicitors for the Elderly - a national association which specialises in providing legal services for older people and their carers.
Simon joined Charles Lucas & Marshall's Wills and Estates Planning team at the start of the year. He is the sixth member of the firm's Wills & Estate Planning team to be accepted by Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).
SFE is an association of solicitors, barristers and legal executives who have spent a substantial amount of time working for elderly clients. The aim is to improve legal services on issues such as tax planning, wills, enduring powers of attorney, long-term social and health care and other retirement issues.
"Laws affecting older people are becoming more complex," said Simon Mee. "Decisions taken may have unintended ramifications and the importance of early, expert legal advice can prevent problems arising at a later date."
"I have been specialising in legal services for the elderly for several years and am looking forward to continuing my development in this area."
