| Charles Lucas & Marshall Advise on Business Merger | |
![]() Stewart McMinn Lawyers, Chares Lucas & Marshall have advised its client, Pronet on the merger of its business with Cablelines - creating one of the UK’s leading distributors of structured cabling systems and network cabling components.
The new merged company, Cablelines Pronet will combine Pronet’s locations in Hungerford and Manchester with Cableline’s offices in Nottingham and Surrey.
Customers will have access to a range of structured cabling products from ADC Krone, ITT, Tyco and Siemon as well as a supporting range of cabinets, fibre and telephone products, tooling and test equipment.
Stewart McMinn, corporate services partner at Charles Lucas & Marshall advised Pronet on the merger deal while commercial property partner, Hemant Amin advised on the property elements of the transaction.
“Pronet has been a long standing client of the firm and this deal will strengthen the company’s position, bringing together a first class management team, sales resource and expertise,” said Stewart McMinn.
“The new company is now one of the largest distributors in the UK with one of the strongest ranges of leading brand products in the telecoms sector.”
