Family lawyer, Claire Marshall has been awarded accredited specialist status from family law group, Resolution.

A member of Charles Lucas & Marshall’s family team, Claire had to pass a series of examinations to demonstrate her specialist knowledge of family law issues.

Resolution is an association committed to promoting a non-adversarial atmosphere in which family law matters are dealt with in a sensitive, constructive and cost-effective way.

Cohabitants cannot use matrimonial legislation when their relationship endsClaire, who has been qualified for seven years, had to pass exams dealing with complex financial settlements arising from divorce proceedings and cohabitation. She was also required to agree to uphold the Resolution code of practice and to pass a written exam, demonstrating a breadth of knowledge of other family law issues.
