Michael qualified as a solicitor in 1986 and joined CLM shortly afterwards. He was made partner in 1992 and Head of Litigation Team in 2000.

He sits regularly as a Deputy District Judge on the Midland Circuit. He is also a member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel; the AVMA (Action Against Medical Accidents) referral panel and the Headway (the brain injury association) personal injuries solicitors list.

He is currently the chair of the Headway Oxford management committee, responsible for running a day centre and outreach services for brain injured people and their families in the area.

Michael is a keen motorcyclist and also enjoys watching rugby and sailing.
