 Lawyers Advise on Lingerie Investment
 Tom Walker Charles Lucas & Marshall's corporate services team has advised on a new investment and shareholder agreement for a luxury lingerie business.
Established by Frederika Cook in 2008, 'Dietrich' designs and manufactures women's lingerie, blending contemporary fashion together with old Hollywood glamour.
Tom Walker, corporate services lawyer with Charles Lucas & Marshall, advised and structured the deal on behalf of Frederika Cook. An equity stake in 'Dietrich' was sold for an undisclosed amount to a private investor.
The financing will enable the company to expand its manufacturing base into Europe and develop its marketing and promotional strategy thus ensuring that it can meet the supply requirements of high-end department stores as well as boutiques.
"Dietrich falls into a niche sector of the industry and the design concept alludes to the aspirations of the Art Deco era," says Frederika Cook.
"The investment will allow the company to outsource its manufacture internationally and target the UK's foremost department stores."
